There is a short setup time needed to make sure the relay is activated before starting to watch for contact, a tenth of a second seems enough. Then it watches for a shift from some 7V to a settable limit, say 4V, to indicate contact. Works like a charm. The Trafimet torch hose connectors are called FY0022 and FY0023.
